Charles Shaw ACP FRSA is the Chief Officer of The Youth Development Association and Lincolnshire Youth Association / Boys & Girls Clubs and a national trustee of NABGC.

Chair of the network CVYS England and trustee of Lincolnshire Council for Voluntary Youth Services and One East Midland. A JNC Qualified worker Charles trained at Manchester Polytechnic (now MMU) and studied further at Liverpool Polytechnic (now JMU). Having also held career positions in Insurance and Corporate Secretaryship he is a past president of Lincoln Insurance institute and the Society of Teachers in Business Education.

Having held a number of Board level positions in the former Connexions service and within the Church Charles is Married to Daphne (also a professional youth and community worker) and has three grown up children.
