Youth Work Training Bursaries Round 6

Bursary Round 6 is now live.
This initiative aims to support individuals looking to enhance their skills and advance their careers in youth work.
All the courses are funded through the Government’s Training Bursaries scheme.
Participants will receive guidance from experienced facilitators to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

This year, we will be offering three Level 2 Youth Work Award courses—one starting in March and two starting in September.

We will also offer a full Level 3 Certificate course, which will also begin in March.

These courses are designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed for effective youth work practice.

Each course will have 16 places available.

This comprehensive structure ensures that learners are well-prepared for the responsibilities of youth work.

The full Level 3 Certificate course combines the four modules of the Level 2 award with the five top-up modules of the Level 3 certificate.

To access the Level 3 certificate, you will need to work with groups of young people for at least 3 hours per week and have at least 18 months of prior youth work experience. Meeting these prerequisites will help ensure that all participants are ready to make the most of the training offered and enables a more interactive learning environment where students can collaborate and share ideas effectively.

All the courses will be delivered online, and you will need access to a computer or tablet to participate; the use of mobile phones is not suitable.
